Wagon train

We are Sequoia bound! Daniel and his family have been camping in Sequoia almost yearly since he was a baby. This year’s trip consists of us and my in-laws, a couple of Daniel’s brothers and his British Aunt, Uncle and cousins who flew across the pond for this expedition. We packed up both of our cars with a TON of crap. My in-laws are driving my car because I can’t stand seeing her this way. A quick glance makes me feel nauseous. My OCD is literally screaming at me.

At least my babies are enjoying the ride.

some people amaze me

in Nada

I was just at the tire shop having my tire fixed. An employee rolled a tire into the waiting room to show the guy sitting next to me. The tire was super worn-down and so smooth that I could even tell that it needed to be replaced. The guy sitting next me says that he is going to wait ’til next month unless he gets an “incentive.” I don’t know about everyone else but not having my tire blow out on the freeway and possibly killing myself has always been a good enough incentive for me! SMH. Cheap fool.

Lula is an occasional house guest. We love having her around. She adds some variety to the usual troop of chihuahuas. Check out the 55 sec. mark to see the making of my dad’s new circus act with Dodger.

gus

This is Gus. How would you like to wake up to this face in the morning? I am taking care of him while his parents are on vacation. So for the next week I literally have my own life-size teddy bear to snuggle as much as I want. Jealous much?

“…the roosters live about a year while their saddle feathers — the ones on the bird’s backside and the most popular for hair extensions — grow as long as possible. Then the animal is euthanized.

I don’t like this trend.
I don’t care how great or fashionable it is.
I hope this fad dies quickly so that the roosters won’t have to.

moving on up

in Life

I am sooo excited. I have decided that I can no longer work from home. I get way too distracted. I am going to be working out of an awesome office in Pasadena. Yay!! Now I just need to get some supplies for my desk (to enhance my productivity, of course.) It is going to take a bit of research so I will right some reviews along the way.
