My name is Sarah S. Tuck, a.k.a. “Stuckee.” I was born and raised in Pasadena, California, I married a ravishing man named Daniel, who was also born and raised here. We have two awesome chihuahuas (my KIDS,) a handsome genius named Thor, and a super cuddly goof-ball named Chloe. We live 20 feet behind my parent’s house.
Although I have no siblings, it was never quiet in our home growing up. There was never a shortage of dogs or birds, and at one point rabbits laying around the living room. Everyone always minded their manners and co-existed peacefully with one another. I don’t want to forget to mention that my parent’s house is currently inhabited by 5 cats, a parrot, and a loud-mouth cockatoo. All of this in a 1300 sq. ft. California Bungalow.
I am Catholic, (or sometimes referred to as a “Cafeteria Catholic,”) complete with 13 years of Catholic School education. I attended Alverno High School, an all-girls school, which keeps with my Catholic Girl persona.
I can be described in a lot of ways, but the two I am most proud of: an artist and an animal lover. I previously worked part-time at Jet Propulsion Laboratory, as a Video & Multimedia Editor. I definitely miss it. I learned a lot and enjoyed going to work each day. Now the majority of my time is spent on Thor Creative, which is a visual design company that I started a few years ago. That satisfies my artistic side. And to satisfy my animal-loving side, several years ago my husband and I founded Pawsadena Pet Care.
My favorite things are dessert, fruity martinis, “I Love Lucy,” horseback riding, and snuggling with any furry creature that will tolerate me.
